Football Game Preview: St. Martinville vs. Northside

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Martinville. On Friday they take on Northside at 7:00 PM. St. Martinville are coming into the matchup hot, having won three in a row.

Last week, St. Martinville had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-21 victory over Comeaux.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-47, which was the final score in Northside's tilt against Lake Charles College Prep. Northside were down by 12-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

St. Martinville's win lifted them to 3-0 while Northside's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if St. Martinville's success rolls on or if Northside are able to steal their positive momentum.
