Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson Township Falcons vs. West Milford Highlanders

The Jefferson Township Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the West Milford Highlanders at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jefferson Township knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully West Milford likes a good challenge.

Jefferson Township barely beat Parsippany the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 11-5 victory on Thursday. Considering the Falcons have won four games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, West Milford lost 13-3 to West Orange on Thursday.

West Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Jefferson Township, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Jefferson Township was able to grind out a solid victory over West Milford in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 8-4. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Highlanders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
