Basketball Recap: Alto Comes Up Short

Alto was the 57-37 winner over Cayuga when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Alto Yellowjackets were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 51-50 to the Cayuga Wildcats.

Alto's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Cayuga, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Alto will finish 2024 at home by hosting Harleton at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cayuga, they will be taking part in a tournament against Apple Springs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
