Baseball Recap: Booneville Comes Up Short

Booneville was the 25-3 winner over Cossatot River when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Booneville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Cossatot River, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5.

Booneville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-5 win against Paris on the 15th. As for Cossatot River, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Kirby on the 15th.
