The Lenox Memorial Millionaires will square off against the Pathfinder RVT Pioneers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lenox Memorial's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Monument Mountain hitters got past them. The Millionaires put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 21-13 victory on Monday. The win was just business as usual for the Millionaires, who after 17 games remain undefeated this season.
The team relied heavily on Grace Julieano, who went 4-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Evelyn Julieano was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Lenox Memorial was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .421. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in ten consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Pathfinder RVT entered their tilt with Hampden Charter School of Science on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-5 margin over Hampden Charter School of Science.
Bella Nompleggi was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Prouty, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Pathfinder RVT's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lenox Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 17-0.
