Softball Recap: Bradford's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Bradford waltzed into their contest on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the White County Central Bears. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 4-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Bradford pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for White County Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Bradford will host Pangburn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for White County Central, they will challenge Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
