Basketball Recap: Barrie Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 18-18 at halftime, Barrie was not quite BASIS Independent's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the BASIS Independent Red-Tailed Hawks by a score of 43-40.

Despite the loss, Barrie saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brandon Adams, Jr. posted seven points.

Barrie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for BASIS Independent, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barrie will venture away from home to square off against Yeshiva at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for BASIS Independent, they will head out on the road to take on The Lab School of Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
