Basketball Game Preview: Navarre Raiders vs. Tate Aggies

The Navarre Raiders will challenge the Tate Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Navarre came up short against Fort Walton Beach and fell 59-50. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Vikings are ranked 291st).

Meanwhile, Tate hadn't done well against Pensacola recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Tate took their game with ease, bagging a 70-29 victory over Pensacola. The contest marked the Aggies' most dominant win of the season.

Tate is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Navarre, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
