Volleyball Recap: New Glarus Comes Up Short

New Glarus came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Waterloo Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-15, 25-15.

New Glarus' loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Waterloo, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 17-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Glarus will challenge rival Wisconsin Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Waterloo is set to take on their familiar foe Belleville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
