Basketball Recap: Merrimack Comes Up Short

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Merrimack was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 69-29 loss at the hands of the Salem Blue Devils. The game marked the Tomahawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Merrimack now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Salem, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merrimack will take on Manchester Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Salem, they will face off against Londonderry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Londonderry likes a good challenge.
