Aspen is 9-1 against Grand Valley since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Aspen Skiers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against the Grand Valley Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Aspen didn't have quite enough to beat Crested Butte and fell 2-1. The Skiers haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Aspen's goal came courtesy of Zoe MacNaughton, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Grand Valley took on Summit on Thursday. Grand Valley came up short against Summit, falling 5-0. The Cardinals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Aspen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grand Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Aspen's way against Grand Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Aspen made off with a 5-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aspen since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
