Baseball Recap: Llano Triumphs

Llano was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with an 11-8 win over the Brady Bulldogs. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Llano got a big performance out of George Gallucci, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Gallucci a new career-high. Cash Lynch was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.

Llano's record now sits at 7-16. As for Brady, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Llano will take on rival Comfort at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brady is set to face off against their familiar foe Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
