Everything went Saint Ignatius College Prep's way against Montini Catholic on Tuesday as Saint Ignatius College Prep made off with a 59-34 win. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Broncos are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, DePaul College Prep entered their tilt with Providence Catholic on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Celtics, posting a 61-24 victory.

DePaul College Prep's win was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they are also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Saint Ignatius College Prep lost to DePaul College Prep on the road by a decisive 57-40 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Saint Ignatius College Prep avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
