Recap: Faith Baptist School Falcons vs. Calvary Christian Academy
The Faith Baptist School Falcons struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Monday (Calvary Christian Academy were 38% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Faith Baptist School took a serious blow against Calvary Christian Academy, falling 53-26. Faith Baptist School has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Brenna Binkley was Faith Baptist School's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Hailey Conway held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
Diaya Armantrading continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Calvary Christian Academy, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Malinky (HS), who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Faith Baptist School has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
Faith Baptist School won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Seaside Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Faith Baptist School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Monday. Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
