Basketball Game Preview: Easley Green Wave vs. Hillcrest Rams

The Easley Green Wave will square off against the Hillcrest Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Easley and six for Hillcrest.

On Tuesday, Easley took a blow against Mauldin, falling 68-29. While losing is never fun, the Green Wave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Mavericks are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-28, which was the final score in Hillcrest's tilt against J.L. Mann on Tuesday.

Easley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Hillcrest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
