Basketball Recap: Carbondale Takes a Loss

Carbondale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Nashville Hornets 65-23. The match marked the Terriers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Carbondale's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Nashville, they pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carbondale will square off against Vienna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nashville, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Frankfort at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Frankfort has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
