Softball Recap: Nease Find Success

While Nease's victory against Bishop Snyder wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 3-2 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Nease saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Eliason, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Nease's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Bishop Snyder, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Nease will welcome Fletcher at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will square off against Hilliard at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Red Flashes at the right time seeing as the Red Flashes are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
