Softball Recap: Lexington Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Lexington and Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lexington had to settle for second. They lost 15-0 to the Raiders. The shutout was out of character for the Minutemen seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Lexington has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Central Catholic, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Catholic, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Bridgewater-Raynham on the 2nd.
