Basketball Recap: Alliance Comes Up Short

Alliance was the 56-48 winner over New Philadelphia when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Alliance Aviators fell to the New Philadelphia Quakers 51-46. The Aviators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alliance's record is now 11-7. As for New Philadelphia, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alliance has already played their next contest (against Marlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Philadelphia will venture away from home to square off against Madison Comprehensive at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. New Philadelphia is facing Madison Comprehensive at the right time seeing as Madison Comprehensive is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
