Baseball Recap: Post Falls Takes a Loss

Post Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Coeur d'Alene Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-3 loss last Tuesday.

Post Falls saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyler Cooley, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Post Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Coeur d'Alene, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 6-6 tie later that day.
