Basketball Recap: West Central Area Takes a Loss

West Central Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers on the road by a 77-59 margin. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 62-59.

West Central Area's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-8. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

West Central Area will host Park Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, they will head out on the road to square off against Minnewaska Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
