Soccer Recap: Central Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwestern, Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Central Rockets who were credited with the win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-2 last Wednesday.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-7-2. As for Carol City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

Central will challenge Northwestern at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. Carol City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
