Baseball Game Preview: ALA - Ironwood Warriors vs. Northwest Christian Crusaders

The ALA - Ironwood Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Northwest Christian Crusaders at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. ALA - Ironwood is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Monday, ALA - Ironwood came up short against Payson and fell 9-5.

Jackson Watson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Kayden Brais was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Northwest Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Benjamin Franklin. The win continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won seven in a row.

ALA - Ironwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Northwest Christian, their record is now 13-5.

ALA - Ironwood couldn't quite finish off Northwest Christian in their previous meeting back in March and fell 5-3. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
