Colorado Springs Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 51 points or more this season.
Leading Colorado Springs Christian to victory were Kinley Asp and Grace Minihane. Asp scored 15 points along with nine assists and six steals, while Minihane scored 22 points along with eight steals. Asp has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Capri Simpson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Colorado Springs Christian pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.5 points. As for Woodland Park, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.
Colorado Springs Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Florence at 5:30 p.m. Florence is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for Woodland Park, they will take on Mitchell at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Mitchell comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last 11 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
