Baseball Recap: Hoover Comes Up Short

If Hoover was feeling good fresh off their 22-1 takedown of Palmdale Academy Charter School last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tornados came up short against the Pasadena Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 17-3. The loss continues a trend for the Tornados in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Hoover saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kieran Sinta, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Hoover's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Pasadena, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-12-1 record.

Looking ahead, Hoover will challenge Oak Park at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tornados are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Pasadena will be paying especially close attention to Hoover's matchup: after Hoover faces off against Oak Park, they'll take on Pasadena again at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
