Baseball Recap: T.W. Andrews Comes Up Short

T.W. Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the McMichael Phoenix. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Phoenix this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Monday.

T.W. Andrews saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Apel, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Reco Nelson was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

T.W. Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for McMichael, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

T.W. Andrews wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-6 win against Parkland on the 10th. As for McMichael, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-6 loss against South Stokes on the 7th.
