Softball Game Preview: Animo Watts Warriors vs. Animo South Los Angeles Panthers

The Animo Watts Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Animo Watts has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Animo Watts came up short against Stella High Charter Academy on Wednesday, falling 17-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Animo South Los Angeles duked it out with Middle College last Wednesday. The Panthers lost 15-6 to the Cougars. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Animo Watts' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Animo Watts couldn't quite finish off Animo South Los Angeles in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 21-19. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
