Football Game Preview: Sharon Eagles vs. Stoughton Black Knights

Sharon hasn't had much luck against Stoughton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. Sharon will be strutting in after a victory while Stoughton will be coming in after a defeat.

Sharon took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 44-14 win over Minuteman Regional. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Brady Shuffain had a dynamite game, throwing for 192 yards and four TDs while completing 86.7% of his passes. Those four passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Sharon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Wyatt Young, Brayden Salkin, and Ian Ford picked up one apiece. Salkin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Stoughton came up short against Quincy last Saturday and fell 27-19.

Stoughton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sharon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
