Basketball Game Preview: Goodman-Pembine Falcons vs. Elcho Hornets

The Goodman-Pembine Falcons will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Elcho Hornets at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Goodman-Pembine is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 40-18 to Wausaukee back in November. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Elcho had to endure a 19-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They blew past Faith Christian Academy 41-18 on Friday. The Hornets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Goodman-Pembine won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February, slipping by Elcho 38-37. Will Goodman-Pembine repeat their success, or does Elcho have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
