Tearra Mortimer Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Western's Tearra Mortimer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mortimer picked up 76 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Those three receiving touchdowns gave her a new career-high.

The victory (which was Western's fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Coming up, Mortimer and Western will take on Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Anabella Puccio and Co. Win Fifth in a Row

AnaBella Puccio was instrumental in extending Western's winning streak to five on Wednesday. Puccio put up some solid numbers in the victory, throwing for 182 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes.

This season, Puccio has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 103.3 passing yards per game.

Savannah Tenore Turns in Season-Best Performance

Savannah Tenore's big game helped extend Stoneman Douglas's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Tenore turned in her biggest game of the season, picking up 55 receiving yards and two TDs. That's the most receiving touchdowns she has posted since back in March of 2024.

This season, Haltiwanger has averaged 32.7 receiving yards per game. She's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, she was only averaging 0.71 receiving yards per game.
