Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dixie Heights). They never let the St. Henry Crusaders get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Wednesday. With that victory, the Colonels brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.

Callie Lewis was a standout: she scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. 3 Emma Buford was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Dixie Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Dixie Heights' win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for St. Henry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Dixie Heights will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Carroll County at 11:00 a.m. As for St. Henry, they will head out to square off against Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
