Volleyball Recap: Springville Has No Trouble Against Timpview

Springville won the last time they faced Timpview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

While Springville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-18.

Garrett Kilgrow paced Springville's offense, picking up eight kills. Kilgrow got some help from Reis Brothers and his 31 assists. Kilgrow also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Christian Hopkins, racking up four apiece.

The victory got Springville back to even at 7-7. As for Timpview, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.
