Soccer Recap: Spring Mills Comes Up Short

Spring Mills managed to slip by Mercersburg Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Storm on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Spring Mills' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Spring Mills' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Mercersburg Academy, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Spring Mills will venture away from home to take on Musselman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mercersburg Academy, they will host Pennington at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
