Softball Recap: Johnsburg Comes Up Short

Johnsburg lost to Marengo back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skyhawks lost 16-0 to the Indians. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnsburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kimmy Whitlock, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

Johnsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Marengo, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Johnsburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marengo will take on rival Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
