Las Cruces hadn't done well against Organ Mountain recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Las Cruces pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Organ Mountain, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5-1.
