Baseball Recap: Rio Hondo Has No Trouble Against Progreso

Rio Hondo won the last time they faced Progreso and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Rio Hondo Bobcats' way against the Progreso Red Ants as the Rio Hondo Bobcats made off with a 9-1 victory.

Noah Villalobos looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Rio Hondo's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rodrigo Saucedo, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. Saucedo is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Juan Padilla, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.
