Football Game Preview: El Rancho Dons vs. Pacifica Mariners + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Braylon Morrison and Ma'Kai Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The El Rancho Dons will challenge the Pacifica Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

El Rancho is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Santa Fe: they outscored them in every quarter. The Dons put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 29-3 win on Friday. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 24 points or more this season.

El Rancho didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Isaiah Sandoval, Jaxson Mora, and Jamie Garcia picked up one apiece. Sandoval is becoming a predictor of El Rancho's success: when he posts at least one interception the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, Pacifica had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 20-7.

El Rancho better keep an eye on James Anema. He was instrumental in Pacifica's win, throwing for 135 yards and two TDs.

Pacifica was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 204 rushing yards in four consecutive games.

Pacifica's defense made their presence known, laying out Malachi Moore seven times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as seven different players picked up one apiece.

El Rancho's record is now 6-4. As for Pacifica, their record now sits at 7-3.
