Softball Recap: Garner Trojans vs. Holly Springs Golden Hawks
After flying high against Smithfield-Selma on Tuesday, Garner came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Holly Springs Golden Hawks on Wednesday, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in March.
Garner saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Smades, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
