Volleyball Recap: Chase Falls to Burns in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Chase unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Burns Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Chase was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Bailey Grayson, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Chase has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against T.C. Roberson on the 15th. As for Burns, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Stuart W. Cramer on the 19th.
