Baseball Game Preview: South County Stallion vs. Robinson Rams

South County is 2-8 against Robinson since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Stallion will square off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South County came up short against Lake Braddock on Friday, falling 9-2.

William Middleton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.

At the plate, Caden Behan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run.

Meanwhile, Robinson lost 14-4 to Fairfax on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

South County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

South County skirted past Robinson 9-8 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallion since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
