Baseball Recap: Kennedy Catholic Takes a Loss

Kennedy Catholic had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 9-1 to the South Fayette Lions on Sunday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Kennedy Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vince Cannizzaro, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kennedy Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Monsignor Scanlan at 4:15 p.m. on April 1st. As for South Fayette, they will challenge St. Petersburg at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Petersburg will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
