Basketball Recap: Willamina Takes a Loss

Willamina was the 22-21 winner over St. Paul when they last played one another back in December of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Willamina Bulldogs took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul Buckaroos. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Willamina's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for St. Paul, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Willamina will welcome Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Willamina surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul, they will venture away from home to square off against Perrydale at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
