For the first time this season, Walker will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Whitefield Academy WolfPack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lorenzo McCorvey out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Walker was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harlem only racked up nine.
Meanwhile, Whitefield Academy posted their closest win since February 4th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Chattahoochee, sneaking past 67-64.
Whitefield Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walker, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
