Waukomis barely beat Carnegie the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chiefs were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Wildcats on Thursday. Considering the Chiefs have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Waukomis' win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Carnegie, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Coincidentally, Waukomis and Carnegie will both be playing Cherokee the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Chiefs at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chiefs will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
