Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookland). They never let the Blytheville Chickasaws get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Chickasaws recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Brookland's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Blytheville, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookland will challenge Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bearcats 4.1, the Warriors 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Blytheville, they will host Forrest City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
