Volleyball Recap: Rondout Valley Takes a Loss

Rondout Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mount Academy Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Ganders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-10, 25-5.

Rondout Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mount Academy, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Rondout Valley will take on Wallkill at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Academy, they will face off against Galway on Saturday.
