Preview: Dallas Center-Grimes vs. Webster City
Webster City have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Dallas Center-Grimes at 4:45 PM. Webster City are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
If Webster City were riding high off their 42-14 takedown of Perry two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Webster City found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-21 punch to the gut against Humboldt last Friday. Webster City's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Meanwhile, Dallas Center-Grimes came up short against Boone, falling 10-19. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Dallas Center-Grimes.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
