Volleyball Recap: Ipswich Takes a Loss

After flying high against Triton Regional on Thursday, Ipswich came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Danvers Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Ipswich sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, 15-25, 15-10.

Ipswich has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Danvers, their record is now 4-13.

Looking ahead, Ipswich will challenge Beverly at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Danvers, they will be playing at home against Winthrop at 10:15 a.m. on Monday.
