On Saturday, Spring Mills faced Huntington in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Spring Mills Cardinals claimed a resounding 79-36 win over the Huntington Highlanders. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Huntington lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Avonte Crawford, who posted eight points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. Taviun Chandler was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Spring Mills pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Huntington, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-11.
