Softball Preview: California Lutheran C-Hawks vs. Southlands Christian Eagles
The California Lutheran C-Hawks will face off against the Southlands Christian Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
California Lutheran came up short against Nuview Bridge on Monday, falling 25-10.
Sofia Klochkova was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily French, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Even though they lost, California Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Daizia White was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Analisa Guerrero made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.
Southlands Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for California Lutheran, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
